Boone River
Recreational Trail

This 5.7-mile multipurpose trail winds along the scenic Boone River, providing visitors a view of natural prairies, farmland, timber, and an abundance of wildlife.  The north trailhead is located in Nokomis Park and the south end of the trail is at Briggs Woods County Park.  This handicap accessible trail offers fishing jetties, resting areas, picnicking, and recreational opportunities along the entire route.  It connects two golf courses, one county park, two campgrounds, three city parks, and one private park.

Swimming Pool

Come enjoy our beautiful outdoor pool this summer.  Our facility includes a bathhouse, zero-depth entrance ramp for handicap accessibility, 25 meter lap lanes, diving well complete with low and high diving boards, and 180-foot water slide.

Golfing

Enjoy a great day or weekend of golfing at our three wonderful golf courses.  Webster City Links Golf Course is a 9-hole course in city limits that is sure to entice your golfing spirit.  Briggs Woods Golf Course is dubbed one of the most challenging courses in the State of Iowa and is located just a few miles south of Webster City.  Dougusta Par 3 Golf Course is a great nine hole course that is small enough to enjoy a round of golf and still have time to enjoy most of your afternoon or morning doing something else.

Cross Country Skiing

Webster City has recently purchased a cross-country ski groomer to start grooming some wonderful trails for cross-country skiing.  Whether you are a pro or just starting out, Webster City is a great place to cross-country ski.  Rental skies available through Hamilton County Conservation
